Cigars, Conversations & Competition: Inside Byrna’s Shooting Challenge Event

There’s something special that happens when good company, friendly competition, and skill-building come together. Recently, Byrna hosted a unique shooting event that blended hands-on training with a relaxed social atmosphere—complete with cigars, conversation, and a full lineup of shooting challenges designed to test accuracy, confidence, and control.

And it did not disappoint.

A Day Built Around Skill, Community & Fun

From the moment participants arrived, the energy was high. The event was designed to bring shooters together—not just to compete, but to learn from one another, share stories, and explore the capabilities of Byrna launchers in a dynamic, real-world environment.

Attendees rotated through multiple challenge stations, each focusing on different aspects of precision shooting. Whether someone was a seasoned shooter or trying a Byrna launcher for the first time, each challenge gave them the opportunity to sharpen their skills while having a great time.

Between rounds, participants gathered to relax, light up cigars, and talk shop. These conversations created one of the best parts of the event—an environment where people could connect over shared interests, compare strategies, and learn from each other’s experiences with personal safety and non-lethal tools.

The result? A community vibe that made the day feel less like a competition and more like a shared adventure.

A Competition Worth Winning

Of course, there was something big on the line: a brand-new Byrna CL for the overall winner.

After a full lineup of challenges, the scores were tallied and the champion crowned. Their accuracy, consistency, and composure under pressure earned them the top spot—and the new CL launcher to take home.
